Thanks Hakan. I have tried adding this to the ads.ini folder which is located in C:\Windows (and I also tried moving ads.ini to C:\Program Files (x86)\Advantage 10.11\ARC which is one of the locations the file can be located in according what I read. I have it back under C:\Windows now. There is only one ads.ini file on my client.
[ads-srv]
LAN_IP=<my _servers_IP_address>
LAN_PORT=2000
I also changed my ads.conf and restarted the ads service
IP_PORT=2000
I get a 6420 error when my Firewall is running on the Server and when I turn that off I seem to connect (the icon turns blue - which I think means connected... and there is a table icon but none of my tables are being displayed)? I have three Tables in my /ads-srv/data/adstest folder with owner and group advantage rwxrwxr-- perms. Is there a netstat command or an ADS utility that I can run on the Server to see if my client is actually connected to my server??
Thanks,
Joe
