for the "local" connection you also need to set the server type to REMOTE. That way, the client opens the via via the daemon and doesn't use the adslocal.so.

With remote connection from local host of course is everything ok, but this connection is much slower then true local connection (I don't use SQL in this case). Darek

I tested this configuration on not crypted tables and everything working ok. And error is on AdsEnableEncryption not AdsOpenTable.

If you use the OS on the VM, then it's the setting of the VM BIOS.Otherwise it's the physical machine.
