This has probably been asked and answered already, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. What's the timeline for XE8 support in ADS 11.1? It's the final major missing piece for being able to get on board with XE8. All of my other libs have been updated.

Why do I get the uneasy feeling that SAP is just going to let ADS "die in its sleep"? Maybe I'm only one of a few, now, but losing ADS in order to stay current with my other development tools will be an incredibly big blow. If I was a really wealthy man, I'd offer to take it off SAP's hands, and make it my personal passion to make it even better. Is it really not at all competitive any more?

That's really good to hear, and very reassuring. I've actually spent quite a bit of time in the last few days trying to figure out what I could possibly do to make a switch to something else. Maybe I'm a loner in the new world of DBMS, but I still find ADS's level of support for VFP files invaluable. Almost every day of my coding includes some use of Visual Foxpro to do mass updates of data files using a few interactive commands instead of writing specialized code in Delphi to do the same one-off jobs. It's just a really productive combination of tools that would be very difficult to replace.
While I'm extremely happy to hear that engineering is working on an update, I do have to mention that it's surprising that the ADS team doesn't seem to start work on such updates while new versions of RAD Studio are in development at Embarcadero. It seems like other major tool-makers are ready almost immediately when the latest Delphi is released. I've always suspected that they have access to pre-release versions so that they can start building their own new packages early. But, I guess that ADS could be exceptionally complex and just needs more time.
In any case, I look forward to being able to move up to XE8 along with ADS in the near future...

We added two new automatically updating field types in version 9 of Advantage, RowVersion and ModTime. The ModTime field type is a timestamp that is automatically updated every time the record is updated. The RowVersion field type is an autoincrementing field that is changed every time the record is updated.

I found the answer in the help, but the ModTime and RowVersion is for a record,
how do i know the ModTime of a table, we need to trigger a reload of a SQL.

In this case you would have to use an triggers for the reload of your SQL. If you need to do this for your clients I would recommend using our Events(notifications) feature. You can use this to alert all your clients when a change is made to the table.

Ouch! So much for my new optimism. 
I have ADS installed on a Ubuntu server.
I had a Windows interface on a computer that I used to unlock users in ADS.
Could someone please help as to what the program is called as the hard drive on the windows computer broke and I need to reinstall this program.
